Word Translations covers Overlapping sets. They do an amazing job. She will be prepared for any overlapping set question on the exam.

I thought about your fiancee's situation. This is what you should do for math. Get her Manhattan GMAT's math foundations, MGMAT Number Properties, and MGMAT Word Translations. That should be sufficient for math. With verbal if she would have time get the powerscore CR bible (its 300 pages), if not just get the Kaplan verbal workbook, surprisingly Kaplan does a good job with verbal.ldoolitt wrote:Aw you guys are beautiful. I actually have the MGMAT CR book and I personally think it does a pretty good job. Is the powerscore CR worth getting in place of that? Really CR is just learning to write down premesis and conclusion. Maybe I oversimplify.

If you found the MGMAT CR book helpful, then go with that. I think PowerScore does the best job of imitating the actual logic of the exam, while MGMAT will throw things in there that are not covered on the exam. Specifically the way they deal with numbers and percentages.ldoolitt wrote:Perfect! We are totally on the same page.
