An amount of $2430 is divided among A B and C such that if their shares br reduced by $5, $10, and $15 respectively then then the remainder should be in the ratio 3:4:5. The B's share was:

A 605
B 790
C 800
D 810
E 945

It is 810. i.e. D

Steps:

1. 2430 - 30 = 2400
2. 12x = 2400 => x = 200

so B's share after reduction = 200 * 4 = 800

we had reduced by 10.. so just add it..

gives us 810.
