Alternate approach:
If point (a, b) is rotated about the origin 90 degrees clockwise, the coordinates of the resulting point are (b, -a).
In the problem above, (-√3, 1) is rotated about the origin 90 degrees clockwise to yield (s, t).
Thus, (s, t) = (1, √3).
The correct answer is B.
