Hello Folks,

An Indian Male/34YRS/IT scored 750 on GMAT. I will be applying to R2-MIT Sloan.
My query is regarding Recommendation Letters.

My two Supervisors are based out of UK.Should the Recommendation Letters be uploaded online personally by my Supervisors or they send me the PDFs and I apply with my essays or what is the procedure.
Pardon my Ignorance but I could not find information regarding the recommendation letters procedure.

<I've posted the same Query on Lounge section of the Forum>

Thanks
Hari

Hey there - your recommenders will receive a link in an email and they need to do it.

Thanks Bhavik.

Can you please elaborate "recommenders will receive a link".
At what point of time in my Application process should my recommeder submit my recommendation.
Is it after I finish with my essays and submit them or is it something I am missing ?

Thanks
Hari

At any point. Start early though to give them time.

The only thing to keep in mind is that your application has to have everything BEFORE you can click 'Apply'. So just make sure it's all in by the deadline.

They receive the link the moment you enter their information into your online application. To Jon's point, give them time, but don't give them too much. They'll procrastinate if you give them the opportunity. As for when they submit - when they're ready. But make sure you set a deadline for them a week or so before the deadline in case they miss it! They're human too.
