Plugging in Problem?

by Sandman » Wed Aug 13, 2008 11:39 pm
3. If the speed of a meters per second is equivalent to the speed of b kms per hour, then what is b in terms of a?

a. 5a/18
b. 6a/5
c. 18a/5
4. 60a
5. 3600000a

Can anyone please show me how to solve this question by plugging in?? or is there any other easier approach to solve a problem like this??

a m/s = b km/hr
-->a m/s = b*1000m/1*60*60
b=a*60*60/1000
b=18a/5

hope it helps
