A,B,C shares

Of a total amount of Rs. 2449, B receives 20% more than A and 25% more than C.What is % of B's share?

(B)40
(C)31.6
(D)0.38
(E)30

Let A's, B's and C's share be A, B , C respectively ...
so B= 1.2A , B= 1.25 C
A+B+C = 2449 --> B/1.2 + B + B/1.25 = 2449 ----> B(5/6 +1 +4/5) = 2449 -->> B= 0.38 x2449
So B's share = [spoiler]38% Ans A[/spoiler]
