Here's the quick answer:
root4 = 2
cube root of 4 = . . . leave for now
fourth root of 4 = 4^(1/4) = (2^2)^(1/4) = 2^(1/2) = approximately 1.4 (we need to memorize that root2=1.4 for other questions)
Since the cube root of 4 will be greater than the fourth root of 4, we know that the cube root of 4 is greater than 1.4
So our sum is: 2 + (a number greater than 1.4) + (about 1.4) = more than 4
