I think B.

1) Tells us nothing about X. - Insufficient

2) Tells us that the series is centered on 0, so sum of terms must also equal 0 regardless of X.

e.g.

sum: -2,-1,0,1,2 =0
sum: -4,-3,-2,-1,0,1,2,3,4 = 0
