the two traingles are similar. In 2 similar triangles the ratio of area is equal to square of thier sides.

GIven Area of S=2 (area of s)

Area of S/ Area of s = S^2/s^2

2s/s= S^2/s^2

S/s= sqrt 2

S= s sqrt2
