Gmat Verbal Scoring

Test Details:

Kaplan GMAT Premier Live Online 2010
Pratice test 4 ( Gmat 2007 was written on the tab)

Overall: 750
Quant: 52
Quant percentile: 98(??)

Verbal: 48
Verbal Percentile: 99 :D :D

I got 10 questions wrong in my verbal and still scored 48. Is this normal?
I did get the first 12 questions right.

Also,even though I scored 52 in quant, I got 98 percentile, I thought that 51+ was 99 percentile.

Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure whether you're in the mid of your preparation or just in the beginning stage. But don't take kaplan or any other prep companies scores very seriously. In my opinion, if you get 10 questions wrong in actual GMAT or GMATPrep, your verbal score will approximately be in the range of 30-34. So, evaluate your performance by taking GMATPrep. That is only best indicator of your actual score.

Thanks Papgust, I did take the Gmat prep and scored 720 on that. I'm appearing for the Gmat next month so you can say I'm at the end of my preparation.

Love your SC flashcards by the way. SC is my main weakness in verbal.
