In the past several years, astronomers have detected more than 80 massive planets, most of them as large or larger than Jupiter, which circle other stars.
A. most of them as large or larger than Jupiter, which circle
B. most of them as large or larger than Jupiter and circling
C. most of them at least as large as Jupiter, circling
D. mostly at least as large as Jupiter, which circle
E. mostly as large or larger than Jupiter, circling

as large as or larger than is the right construction - A, B are wrong
D - mostly at least as large, which seems to refer to jupiter - wrong
E - as is missing, mostly is wrong

IMO C.
Getting defeated is just a temporary notion, giving it up is what makes it permanent.

A - Which refers to Jupiter but author intends it for planets.
B - Confused for B but does not sound right.
C - Correct.
D -mostly is wrong here.
E - mostly is wrong here.

A. most of them as large or larger than Jupiter, which circle (need two "as" and "circle" must be "circleS",since"which" links it with the word "Jupiter")
B. most of them as large or larger than Jupiter and circling (need two "as"; "and circling" is wrong)
C. most of them at least as large as Jupiter, circling RIGHT!
D. mostly at least as large as Jupiter, which circle ("circle" must be "circleS",since"which" links it with the word "Jupiter")
E. mostly as large or larger than Jupiter, circling (need two "as")
