Hi,

I have a 3 yr old moderately successful start-up in my profile

Confident of making it to a top university,Im planning to pursue my MBA With Entrepreneurship as a major course. Then after I would like to take up a job for a period.

My question is, does my course in E'ship hurt my chances during placements/recruting as the recruiters might assume I might not be with them for long, or the company be less trustful in the ways I be given opportunities once recruited ?

In a way your gut feeling is right. Just get into recruiters' shoes. Even though they may take your entrepreneurship experience as a mark of leadership and hardwork, they may question your clarity of goals. If you have a startup then why would you want to join a company? You should not come across as a person who is just getting into a company with a view to earn quick bucks and jump into own business. On the other hand if you clarify that you are no longer with that startup and now wish to make a career in corporate in long run, it would be a much better pitch.
