The title itself says that analyzing the test results should be a very obvious thing right?
But that's where the problem starts for me.
After analyzing tons of questions i got wrong, how do i make sure i dont repeat the same mistakes again?
What is the best way to analyse a wrong answer and build on it for future ref?
Right now, i have been logging my errors in an XLS with the specific topic and subtopic written alongside them.
but i feel am not optimizing my analysis for future use

Pls could someone help me with the above?

I think the best way to do this is to analyze each question you got wrong. Do more than just marking down which category the question falls into. Ask yourself why did you miss the question. I feel that most people miss questions not because they don't know the content, but because they don't recognize what's being tested. Learning the content is only half the battle, the other half is recognizing when something is being tested. I would say if you just focus on learning the content on the GMAT, your GMAT range would be 600-700. The other thing to focus on is recognizing what concepts are being tested on each question.

Another way to make sure that you don't make the same mistakes again is to go back over the questions that you missed a few days or a week later. If you still make a mistake look at the question again a week or so later. Keep doing this until you don't make any mistakes any of the problems that you have on your list.
