Xiang and used cars

In My, Xiang sold 15 used cars. For these 15 used cars the range of selling prices was 15,000 and the lowest selling price was 4,500. In June, Xiang sold 10 cars. For these 10 cars the range of selling was 16,000 and the lowest selling price was 6,100. What was the range of selling prices for the 25 used car sold by xiang in May and June?

a)15,600
b)15,750
c)16,820
d)18,100
e)19,200

This seems to be a very simple problem but i can't get my head around it. I guessed the answer correct but would like to know how to solve it.

May
Range = 15000
Lowest Selling price = 4500
Highest selling price = 15000+4500 = 19500

June
Range = 16000
Lowest Selling price = 6100
Highest selling price = 16000+6100 = 22100


Combined May & June
Highest selling price = 22100
Lowest selling price = 4500

Range = 22100-4500 = 17600

Are all the values and the answer choices correctly posted? I dont see this in any of the answer choices.

I go with parallel _ chase .... i guess the choices are incorrect.. i ended up with the same solution

Here is the exact question.

In May, Xiang sold 15 used cars. For these 15 cars, the range of the selling prices was $15,000 and the lowest selling price was $4,500. In June, Xiang sold 10 cars. For these 10 cars, the range of the selling prices was $16,500 and the lowest selling price was $6,100. What was the range of the selling prices of the 25 used cars sold by Xiang in May and June?

The value is $16500 not $16000 as posted in the your question.

Follow the same method as posted above you will get your answer.
