I need your advice regarding how to effectively use my practice CATs results (anyone's opinion is welcome, but if someone from MGMAT could answer, it'd be great!).

I have taken two MGMAT CATs:
MGMAT CAT 1: Q45, V41 = 710
MGMAT CAT 2: Q44, V40 = 700

I am frustrated because when I finished CAT1, I did my best to try to analyze which areas I scored better and worst. I tried to analyze which areas I was slowest and fastest. I went back to my MGMAT books so I could review the areas in which I was theoretically weakest (as I interpreted it through my CAT1 result).

Still, I took my CAT2 and I did 10 points worse!!! Aside from that, everything was totally similar. I didn't manage to get better in the areas in which I am theoretically weaker (Geometry and FDPs).

My question is: what is the best way to actually use these CATs to my advantage, i.e. actually improve my score? Going back to the books and reviewing my weakest areas doesn't seem to help. I'm stuck on 700-710 and I desperately want to score a 750 on the real thing.

Thanks in advance for your help and guidance.

Going back to the books is the best strategy in my opinion to correct your weaknesses. Did you dedicatedly study the weak concepts? Did you practice a set of simple questions based on the weak concepts? Then, did you practice GMAT problems based on the weak concepts?

If you've done these, you should be seeing some improvement. If not, then there is some other problem like timing issues, silly mistakes etc.

Yeah, I did all that and didn't help.

I'm considering signing up for a Princeton Review course (the in-person ones... they don't offer Manhattan courses here in Mexico).

Do you think a Princeton Review course would help me go from 710 to 750? or is it designed more for people that want to reach 700's?
