Hi, first I want to say thanks to the BTG community for all of the stories, support and help that this provides...I visit this site often and love reading the beat the gmat stories and the articles...

After struggling with the GMATs for a year and a half and two attempts, my score has only improved 50 points, I've been scoring in the 400 range for a while now and I feel like it might be time to switch to the GREs...what do you all think? I've spoken to a few Admissions Advisors and they've mentioned that I could do that if I want and they won't but I feel like I've invest so much time, effort, money on the GMATs that I shouldn't give up now and switch bc that would take switching gears, and preparing for a whole new test...any thoughts would be great!

thanks in advance.

The good thing is with the gre (what I have heard) is that quant is way easier and as long as you get a high math score, you should be ok. I have seen some verbal questions- they look insanely hard- you have to know the most ridiculous vocabulary- dumbest type of testing imo. I'm not sure though how schools look at the scores, combined or not.
