There maybe some small bits I am missing but this should be 80-90% of the package.

I have everything average be it GMAT score, CGPA or acads. Also, I don't have any international exposure. But my experience in Oil & Gas/ Nuclear Sector help me stand out of all the applicants.

So, in such a scenario which all B-School out of top 20 (US B-schools) should I target? What do you think are my chances? Where can I further strengthen my application?

I would be much obliged if I could have your thoughts here.
Thanks so much
Pranav

Well thankfully you don't work in IT! that's a first step towards making your profile different. And now, all the other steps are up to you. Despite all your great work experience, your biggest obstacle is still: STANDING OUT. And it's not by giving a list of your work awards that you are going to do that, but by using your own unique voice, to tell your stories, show your ambition and your passion.

Top 10 schools will all be a stretch for you, but the second ten should be reachable if you can make a good, convincing package. I especially like Anderson, Austin, Tepper and Georgia Tech, as they can fit in with your profile, and your GMAT is a bit higher than average which should help you when competing against other candidates (esp. other Indian candidates).

Hope this helps!!!

Hi Pranav,

Your offer a decent candidature. IIT brand, a different profile, decent extra currics will all help you strengthen your application.

But the drawback is that you should ideally give a power/ energy/ manufacturing/ supply chain story only as that goes well with your profile. Goals related to finance, marketing etc may not sell.

Here are some schools you should look at

Michigan Ross
CMU Tepper
UCLA
Duke Fuqua
UNC Kenan Flagler
Purdue

I think agree with Apphelp's assessment. You might wish to add a school like Cornell Johnson to your top 10 mix. Given your IIT pedigree and marks, if you can raise your GMAT score to say a 740 you should consider applying to schools like Kellogg and MIT Sloan as doable reaches.
