Princeton Review Test Result

by veekay » Sat Sep 15, 2007 10:26 am
Can anyone help me understand the logic behind the scoring on Princeton test result. I am not sure whether Princeton is calculating the score correctly. I know that final score doesn't depends on # of correct but there should be some relation. A test where you have only 5 incorrect and out of first 20, only one incorrect, should not get 41

I took 2 test and my score are

Test 1 670
Sub Area - Verbal
Score - 39
# of correct - 31
# of wrong in 1st 20 Q - 3
Sub Area - Maths
Score - 44
# of correct - 28
# of wrong in 1st 20 Q - 2

Test 2 620
Sub Area - Verb
Score - 35
# of correct - 34
# of wrong in 1st 20 Q - 4

Sub Area - Math
Score - 41
# of correct - 32
# of wrong in 1st 20 Q - 1
