I need help ASAP

by elika_king » Tue Sep 20, 2011 10:45 pm
It has been almost 6 months that I'm studying for GMAT(my appointment is 13th of November) and my score should be more than 700. Last week I took one of Manhattan online tests and my score was 490 .
Last night I took one of 800scores tests and I've got 590. What should I do to increase my score in these 53 days that I have untill my exam? I have sooo many mistakes in the verbal section since my native language is not english.
I studied all 8 books of Manhattan,I took all the tests in official books but I'm still not that comfortable with the questions..What should I do?

I would suggest you to do two things for better analysis by the experts

1. Post a paper you have attempted with your score and options you have marked. This will lead us understand the usual sections where you are weak.

2. For sentence correction use Manhattan at least twice. refer it again and again for clarity.

3. CR is about logic and if you are able to understand the logic you will answer easily. Practice is key. Go slow first, then acquire speed. Never get bored.

4.always learn the concepts first. Take as much time to learn them as you need. Buy all the books you have to buy but build a solid base first. Then practice, practice and practice.

5. Practice one set in untimed mode then the next one in timed mode. Keep doing for 10 sets. It will remove anxiety and pace your mind with accuracy.

Best of Luck
