Strange GMAT Math Question

I was taking a test last night and saw a math question that I have never seen before.

It was a grid with numbers and letters and a plus sign. The question asked me to find the value of m and n but it was laid out in a grid format.

Has anyone seen this before?

Yes, I think I might have come across it during one of the GMATPreps.

The plus sign in the grid simply means that you need to ensure that the numbers add to result in the last row of the graph.
