Just starting out - Books?

by orenbusuk » Sun Jan 13, 2008 7:21 am
Hi all, I'm just starting out my long journey towards the GMAT exam and just wanted to say thanks to everyone on this forum - its been a really good source of info!

I just signed up for MGMAT's online course and its been great so far. Just wanted to know what books people used for the prep? I'm aiming really high (700+). So far I've got:

Princeton Review 07
MGMAT books

Can anyone recommend books for specific topics (e.g. DS, CR, SC) or do you think the MGMAT books will suffice? I've read on several sites that I should probably get PowerScore's CR book as well....what do you think?

Thanks in advance! :D

I think you've got plenty to start with, and you've got great materials. Get started and work diligently, keeping track of your errors. As you progress, you'll figure out if you need specific question-type practice books. Don't buy anymore for now.
