Which book to start with?

by nittanylion530 » Mon Jun 08, 2009 5:30 pm
I'm about to start heavy studying for the gmat and have the following books:

Kaplan GMAT Premier Program
OG, 11th Edition
OG Quant Review
OG Verbal Review
Logical Reasoning Bible

I'm wondering what the best book to start with would be. I'm assuming either the Kaplan or OG book. Also, a few months ago I scored a 550 on a Kaplan practice test. I'd like to score 700+. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

If you have about 3months time to prepare start with the Kaplan book. Get your foundations right and then move on to the Official Guide. But if you have just 3-4weeks to prepare chuch the kaplan book and dive straight on to the official guides!!!

You state that your target score is 740. Kaplan is good for students aiming for 500-650. You might try Manhattan GMAT as well.
