Hi,

This is my first post on this forum. I've been studying for the GMAT for the 3 weeks and last night I took my first practice test which was from the Kaplan CD. Now I've read a lot of posts on this site and the opinion around here is that Kaplan scores are pretty skewed. Could someone please advise me whether getting a 580 on my first test is a good or a bad indicator of how well prepared I am. Because frankly, I was expecting a better score on my first test. Also, since my test is scheduled for May 31st, what is the best way to ensure I that DO "beat the GMAT" as they say :)... I would be happy to get any pointers from the amazing people out here. Thanks..
