Multiplying both sides by x² - 4, we get
x² + 4x + 4 = 3x² - 12
2x² - 4x - 16 = 0
x² - 2x - 8 = 0
x² - 4x + 2x - 8 = 0
x(x - 4) + 2(x - 4) = 0
(x + 2)(x - 4) = 0
x + 2 = 0, x - 4 = 0
x = -2, 4
X has to be 4.
(X+2)^2/x^2-4=>(X+2)^2/(x-2)(x+2)=>
x+2/x-2=3

X has to be 4 ONLY
