First of all, a 30-point increase is a very reasonable goal. In fact, you might want to shoot for 700, since you're almost there already.

To improve in GMAT math, you should take the time to master each topic (e.g., percents, ratios, exponents, statistics, etc.)

For each topic, you must:
1) Learn the underlying concepts (rules, attributes, notation, etc.)
2) Learn GMAT-specific strategies related to that topic
3) Practice dozens of questions all related to that one topic.
4) Don't stop working on that topic until you have mastered it
Then move on to the next topic.

Since you have 2 months, you might consider signing up for BTG's free Study Guide: https://www.beatthegmat.com/mba/gmat-guide. This will help you stay on track and ensure that you cover all of the necessary concepts that the GMAT tests.

In addition to learning the core concepts and GMAT-specific strategies, be sure to work on your endurance and test-taking skills (e.g., time management) by taking several practice tests.

Hey Cam,

Using the OG12 shouldn't be an issue. Here's a post (with a downloadable Improvement Chart for the OG12) concerning this: https://www.beatthegmat.com/og-12-t115241.html#494244

Since you've already done a fair bit of preparing, you probably won't need to spend as much time on each topic. Just use the Guide to fill in any gaps you may have.

I've never seen any error logs for questions from verbal OG 2nd ed and quant OG 2nd.
