Can you guys give me a rough evaluation of my profile?

Graduated 2007 from UCI with BSEE.
GPA 3.2
GMAT 740
Work exp. 2 years doing Application Engineer/IT stuff.

Would I fit into top 15 programs? I'm not too optimistic about Top 10 so i'm going to shoot for Top 11-15 (UCLA, USC, ... etc).

What are some things that i need to work on to improve my acceptance chance at those schools?

Hi -

Thanks for your post. As you probably know, its hard to gauge your candidacy into these MBA programs based on profile/stats, as much of the decision is based on your essays, LORs, interview performance. That said - here is my feedback.

Overall, you are in one of the most competitive applicant pool - IT/Engineering background. Therefore your biggest challenge is how to best differentiate yourself. What makes you different from the thousands of IT applicants that will apply to the same schools with similar stats?

Also, do you have any community service experience. That is a great way to boost your application.
