Bag of marbles problem

by smartmonkey » Fri Oct 10, 2008 11:23 pm
1) Given a bag of R red, G green and B blue marbles (N marbles total). What is the probability to pick at least one red and one green marble when randomly pulling out 5 marbles without replacement?

2) Given the same bag, what is the probability to get at least one red, one green and no blue marbles when randomly pulling out 5 marbles without replacement?

My first attempt was trying (RC5)(GC4)/NC5 but that seemed way off...
