(1) When x is divided by 3, the remainder is 0.
(2) When x is divided by 5, the remainder is 0.
1) x is a multiple of 3, therefore x can be written as x=3k, where k=1,2,3...
putting this value of x in the equation 10x+2 we have; 30k+2; when 30k+2/6 remainder will always be 2, hence 1 alone is sufficient.

2) similarly x=5k; therefore we have 50k+2; where k=1,2.. now here for different values of k, different results are possible, for e.g. consider k=1 remainder =4, when k=2,remainder is 0.
therefore 2 alone is not sufficient.
