Undergraduate Education:
Average Grades Not sure what my GPA would be but i am not expecting the same to be greater than 3.1 or less than 3.0.
I have completed a 15 year Bachelor degree from India.( I am not sure whether i would be eligible for MBA programs in the United States and Canada).

Professional Education.

US Universities:

Emory University.
Mendoza school of Business.
Vanderbilt (Owen School of Business).
Boston University, Northeastern University, Caroll School of Management.

Canadian University
Mcgill University
Schulich University
Richard Ivy School of Business.

I wanted to know whether i have a competitive chance in Mendoza, Owen or Emory.
They have average Gmat scores Between 670-690.

I also wanted to know whether having a 15 year Bachelor degree would it make me ineligible to apply to most US and Canadian Universities.

Whether a 1 Year program be suitable for me as i want to work in Asset Management or Corporate Finance. If Post MBA Employment difficult due to no summer internships.

Please provide any other insights that may help me present a strong application.

Hi Ayush,

An avg. profile can surely be an offset by submitting strong application essays and demonstrating leadership skills, professionalism and ability to work with others in your final interviews. Regarding your eligibility concern, few b-schools accept 15 yrs. education. So, I would suggest you to write to b-school admissions office and get it clarified with them.

With 5.5 yrs. of work-ex and 670 as GMAT score, I would suggest you to target schools like: McCombs, Kenan-Flagler, USC-Marshall, Georgetown-McDonough, Wisconsin-Madison, Texas-Mays, Queen's, & Rotman. List of your b-schools looks fine and should be within your reach.

Let me know in case of further queries you might have. You can also PM your number to discuss over your profile and selection of b-schools.

Best,
Richa
