Hi
Let me start with little background on my profile.
I am Indian Female of 26 yrs age.
I have taken GMAT two times-
First Time : 690 (Q49/V35)
Second Time :640.
I have done Egineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from state university(Uttar Pradesh Technical University).
Total Work Ex - 3yrs 3 months
I am currently working as an Operations Analyst and taking care of the Capital One Card Operations.
Earlier than Capital One was part of HSBC but as Capital One took over HSBC's US Card Services I became part of Capital One.
Including HSBC and Capital One work ex - 1 yr 2 months
Before this company I was working with Accenture as Informatica Developer for Morgan Stanley client.
Work ex - 2 yr 1 month.
I also started my own two franchisees during college and had to leave as I came over to different place to work.
So currently, those two franchisees are taken care by my mom.
I have also worked Part Time as Maths tutor for US Students along my office. (Jan 2011 to August 2012)
My Goals - To have my own startup in education industry.
MY TARGET SCHOOLS - Top 20 US Business School
Though I know that my GMAT score is on low side, and hence I will be giving my GMAT again.
I somehow feel that when it comes to Indian pool of applicant, Score, work ex and from which college you pass out matters a lot.
Also, this year I applied in Georgetown, Emory, Ross, UCLA ,NYU and CBS
And I already have got no from Emory and CBS.
My concern is - Is there way to improve my profile in coming months to make my profile apt for applying next year.
Also, if I start working on my goal right now(start working on having my own startup), will it be seen as negative in my application when I apply again for next year intake.
Thanks
