Based on the information you provided, it is difficult to suggest schools US that would appeal to you (I'd want to know more about your future goals, whether you like small or large cities, small or large programs, your learning style, etc.).

BUT, given your grades and GMAT, you have a profile that could be competitive at any US school. You do come from a competitive applicant pool so you will want to take that into account when you apply, but, if you have excellent recommendations and strong essays, there is no reason you couldn't be admitted to a top 20 US program. You will have the most success if you find a program that is best suited to your skills and your long term goals. You will need compelling reasons as to why you want to attend a particular program. There are many Indian IT applicants so you might want to look at schools who don't have quite as many people from this demographic.

You can find many ranking lists of the top US programs online. Pick a few and start to research!
Good luck!

@Jessica,
I am greatly interested in studying full-time MBA in USA but have budget constraints hence looking for b-schools with moderate tution-fees.

GMAT: 650,
Work exp: 4 years in telecom industry.
Average extra-curriculars
Good recos
well written essays.

I like small cities, small programs.

Most schools in the US will have similar tuitions and fees. Private schools may be in one (higher) category and then public institutions may be a little bit less. You may want to consider going to school part-time if the finances are a big concern. It will be challenging to be admitted to a top program with a 650 (not sure about your grades). I specialize in top tier (top 20) programs and I'm not as familiar with the smaller programs that might be a better fit for you.

Sorry to not be of more help! Hopefully some of my "expert" colleagues will have better suggestions for you!

Thanks Jessica,
Can you tell me where can I get to know about all US public institutions and their eligibility criteria for MBA?

Hi Experts,

I wrote my GMAT few days back and scored 700. I am not sure if this score will be good enough for me to get admitted to a top tier b-school. Could you please review my profile and help me with the schools that I should apply to. I am more interested in finance or consultancy and want to pursue a full time MBA.

GMAT Score: 700(Q47,V38).
10th Grade: 88%
12th Grade: 85%
Bachelor of technology(computer science): CGPA 8.5/10
Work Ex:- 3.5 years (in a supply chain company) and 1 year of internship in the same organization. I was working on the functional side of the product for around 3 years. Was responsible for new features that go into the product. Worked as a functional consultant on a couple of projects both offshore and onsite for some major FMCG companies. Few months back I moved to the technical side of product development.

Professional Achievements:- I have been promoted twice in these years and also was fecilitated with a milestone award by my organization.

Academic achievements:- I was a scholarship holder throughout my engineering. Also, got few awards in school.

Any assistance from your side will be helpful.
