Hi Bala,

Having a strong history of volunteering is great and will definitely be an asset. My first question would be why do you need another MBA? It's not unheard of for someone with an international MBA to go for a US MBA, but it sounds like you completed your first MBA very recently, so that will raise questions you'll want to explain completely.

I'm not sure what your work experience was - did you manage people? Were you promoted? Those examples of leadership and management potential will help a lot if you have them. What are your grades like from undergrad and grad school? Without full information, the prior MBA so recently is the one thing I would wonder about.

Good luck!

In my work before MBA i had managed 32 dealers in a state and was leading an initiative to improve Customer Satisfaction. I was promoted with high bonus in my region. I was selected in the talent management and was assigned responsibility to deploy the same initiative at a dealership outside the country for a short duration
Also i was offered a cross functional assignment in sales which was offered to top performers.

My grade in UG was 3.04 and 2.9 in my MBA.

Hi Bala,

That sounds like good leadership experience - I would advise highlighting your work accomplishments in your essays.

Explaining your first MBA and why you need a second is your biggest task.

Good luck!
