In this forum, I see a lot of practice essays based on unofficial essay prompts.
When writing practice essays, always use the official essay prompts
These can be found at https://www.mba.com/the-gmat/test-struct ... 00606.ashx
On test day, you will see one of 151 essay prompts found on the above link. So, if you use them to write your practice essays, there's actually a chance you will see the exact same prompt on test day!
Better yet, use the official essay prompts to practice listing discussion points for each argument. That way, if you get the same essay prompt on test day, you will have already analyzed the argument, and this will inevitably make the writing task much easier.
