can we memorize/use key sentences/phrases from OG?

If I were you, I would not copy directly exactly the same sentences from just one essay and insert my own content related to the topic of your essay. What you can do is make a list of structures and expressions used in a few essays in the OG or other resources and memorize them.

The essay-scoring program compares your essay with thousands of previous essays (in its database), looking for commonalities and words/phrases that have appeared in good essays in the past. If others have memorized the same OG essays, then an essay could be considered plagiarized if certain parts match parts of several other essays.

Create your own template with key sentences and memorize that.
