"The invention of the Internet has created more problems than it has solved. Most people would have a higher quality of life had the Internet never been invented."

The issue of the internet creating more problems than it has solved is a very controversial once. On one hand it has broadened the scope of everyone who so is involved directly or indirectly with computers. On the other hand it has created problems for people managing vast amount of data and information as well as at the execution level of carrying out tasks at a higher speed than ever before. However, in the final analysis I believe that the internet has helped far more than what once could imagine and has made a positive impact in every dimension.
The chief reason for my view is that the internet has made work related queries much easier to resolve. For example, any individual seeking information can seek any sort of query on the internet and gather the relevant data that is required by him. From students, to teachers to working professionals, data is the foremost before any transaction is made, and this can be gained by the click of a button. Moreover the knowledge one may have could be gained from more than one point of view and also with explanations and graphs which could be changed as per the query. Finally data seeking from the internet has made a positive impact to all those involved.
Another reason for my view is that electronic communication not only serves as a faster mode of communication, but also can be saved for future references if required. For example, electronic mails could be used as evidence of something that could be crucial to a final decision being made whether at a work place or at a court of law. Moreover utility options make it easier for the common man as he could pay all his bills such as gas, electricity, water, telephone etc, and the recent invention of also buying your groceries, flowers, delivery of items, printing your own boarding pass for travel and many such examples, all of which is done online has made it much easier an d economical for those who do so.
Some might argue that the internet has destroyed the way of life as people used to enjoy, as well as the time spent with another person. Yet the internet has sped up the process of every action and has optimized the level of efficiency of every involved person. Others might cite that that there is a lot of adult content freely available with censorhip that can be viewed easily by even youngsters, however there are existing anti block security softwares that can be purchased, and thus will solve the issue at hand.
In sum, I concur that the internet has grown leaps and bounds with innovations in technology taking it forward at an accelerated pace and though has certain drawbacks, which can be solved with proper analysis of the particular issue with the widespread availability of knowledge available on the internet, and thus has contributed much more positively to every area and led people to have a much higher quality of life at ease.
