Start writing before you get the topic?

Hi Guys,
It just occured to me that there are alot of screens you have to "next" through before you start writing your essays. At this point, you already have your dry erase board. Is there any reason why I can't write out my essay outlines during this time?

Just a thought...

It's not clear to me how helpful that would be, since you wouldn't know what your essay topic is!
