I picked up this question from myohmy's essay template and gave it a shot. I know I can not match up her skills but at least lemme know if this will suffice my AWA section. I wrote this in abt 20 mins. Please rate

Question:
"Despite the convenience of distance learning and online educational programs, they will never replace in-class instruction."

Discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the position stated above. Support your viewpoint using reasons and examples from your own experience, observations, or reading.

In class teaching has been an essence of education ever since our forefathers' time and I believe it should continue till the
existence of the human race. Today in the united states the distance learning schemes and the online tutor approach is an
everbooming industry however it will fail to mask the existence of the in class tutoring. The author statement is well directed here and as she carefully considers that distance learning is ever increasing in the 21st century united states however it still remains an addition to the in class approach.

Primarily from my personal experience being a 20th century grown up and a 21st century mature person I believe that the classroom approach or the in house tutoring approach was much more student friendly. The students were face to face with the faculty in their
day to day learning and thus any doubt that would arise could be easily be put up in the class. In the distance learing approach
and the correspondence courses these days there is little emphasis on the interaction between the tutor and the student. Although we can have net connect sessions and webcam interactions they have little benefits when compared to a physical interaction between a teacher and a student.

Secondly the distance learning is somewhat and sometimes inhibited by factors such as an internet failure or other communication gaps thatvmay arise. Also with a student several thousnd miles away from a teaching facullty and organization we can expect such things to happen. In addition to this the teaching staff may not be as inclined towards all the students as they seldom know the exact person to whom they are conducting a session. A personal interaction among teachers and students is necessary to develop interests on both the sides.

Although the distant learning scheme may have a few drawbacks it is fast replacing the in class tutoring these days. In the preparation for Competetive exams such as the LSAT, GRE etc there are many online tutoring facilities available which people can access from any part of the world. Thus this proves to be an advantage when a student say from a small town in India wants to appear for such exams and is unable to find good guidance from local facilities. Also many institutions around the world are offereing their applicants to choose distance learning programs even for masters in business administration which I believe
is a major advancement. This is given the fact that the essencee of MBA can be best experienced when the learning is combined with actual work. This can be achieved by the use of distance learning.

In sum, after weighing the author's arguement I would say that the author has definitely a point to make even though there is a lot still to be argued regarding these facts, I would still say the statement is very concrete. Whats more is that both sides of this arguement can be balanced with its contender to lead to an even better solution. This would mean the integration of the distant learning with the in class programs as per the requirements of the course and the students.
Cheers !!

Question:
"Despite the convenience of distance learning and online educational programs, they will never replace in-class instruction."

Discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the position stated above. Support your viewpoint using reasons and examples from your own experience, observations, or reading.

In class teaching (the subject is instruction i.e. learning process, teaching is understood as delivery of instruction) has been an essence of education ever since our forefathers' (our forefathers' example is not well supported, later the immediate claim is made about the issue) time and I believe it should continue till the
existence of the human race. Today in the united states (as a country, the United States) the distance learning schemes and the online tutor approach is an
everbooming industry however it will fail to mask the existence of the in class tutoring (not necessarily smooth flow of exchange of ideas is observed here - forefathers' example vs. the US everbooming industry ?) . The author statement is well directed here and as she carefully considers that distance learning is ever increasing in the 21st century united states however it still remains an addition to the in class approach (this sentence does not add too much towards your good introduction para ...).

Primarily from my personal experience being a 20th (the 20th ordinal number starts with an article 'the') century grown up and a 21st (the same here) century mature person I believe that the classroom approach or the in house tutoring approach was much more student friendly.
(You have tendency to start your arguments with conclusion/inference and complete with the premises; I noticed that in the mid-way of formulating the statements you forget the strength and possible implications/assumptions of your conclusion and put generalized premises which are sometimes difficult to propose good evidence for your claim[s])

Secondly
(you used primarily in the previous para, so better to put less primarily synonyms here, not secondly which must be preceded by firstly in logic) the distance learning is somewhat and sometimes inhibited by factors such as an internet failure or other communication gaps thatvmay arise. Also with a student several thousnd miles away from a teaching facullty and organization we can expect such things to happen (not clear example, which things - internet failure or communication gaps, the latter is too general notion). In addition to this the teaching staff may not be as inclined towards all the students as they seldom know the exact person to whom they are conducting a session (not necessarily, it could be one-on-one online tutoring as well). A personal interaction among teachers and students is necessary to develop interests on both the sides.

Although the distant learning scheme may have a few drawbacks it is fast replacing (it is replacing quickly) the in class tutoring these days. In the preparation for Competetive exams such as the LSAT, GRE etc there are many online tutoring facilities available which (modifier and preposition placement mistakes) people can access from any part of the world. Thus this proves to be an advantage when a student say from a small town in India wants to appear for such exams and is unable to find good guidance from local facilities (which facilities, online or in-class?). Also many institutions around the world are offereing their applicants (the institutions can not offer their applicants; they offer to their applicants - makes much difference in reading and hearing what is read ...) to choose distance learning programs even for masters in business administration which I believe
is a major advancement (illogical reference advancement in what?). This is given the fact that the essencee of MBA can be best experienced when the learning is combined with actual work. This can be achieved by the use of distance learning. (not at all convincing, some portions of these two sentences make cross reference; the conclusion is very difficult to be drawn, as to what is evidence for what and how your claim is being purported).

In sum (are we still doing the math section here ), after weighing the author's arguement (it's an issue topic, so it's correct to put the author's belief... ) I would say that the author has definitely a point to make even though there is a lot still to be argued regarding these facts, I would still say the statement is very concrete. Whats more is that both sides of this arguement can be balanced with its contender to lead to an even better solution. This would mean the integration of the distant learning with the in class programs as per the requirements of the course and the students (you sound having some unarticulated ideas in your mind which come difficult to read through this essay lines, especially towards the end. Please elaborate more on the ideas you exchange with the reader, phrases you put into your essay and present everything in clear/plain and concise way) .
I would rate this essay 3.5, as it has major deficiencies in the logical structure, grammatical mistakes and complexities in the idea exchange.
