my question is if the answer is C then aren't we downplaying the observation of Francoise Cachin.i mean who knows he might be one big stalwart of modern art and that he might have known more about modern art than "most other experts"
i somehow at looked this problem from weighted average concept .the "total weight" of Francoise Cachin's observation might weigh more than the "total weight" of obsevation of "most other experts"
analogically speaking ,let say,consider a situation where a particular problem of gmat is under discussion and many experts are contending that that problem is faulty and then suddenly a very experienced instructor weighs in and guides all the rest that the problem is not actually faulty but is a fine example of a new concept .
my contention is C is missing this point . the best answer ,as per me , wud have been :Cezanne's work is slightly controversial.but unfortunately its not there.
