Is 690 good enough for HAAS?

First of all I would like to thank all the forum members for providing wealth of information in many of hard to understand topics.
I gained a lot from BTG and helped me score.

I know 690 (47,38) is a bit on the lower side. I would like to know whether this is good enough for part time MBA at HAAS.
My background is I am a software engineer in silicon valley with 12 yrs of experience with bachelors degree from India.

I need deciding if I need to give GMAT one more time to improve my score.

Highly appreciate your thoughts.

I've had students with lower scores get into similar schools. Whether you get in now will largely depend on the rest of your application; in other words, if you get rejected, it probably won't be because of your GMAT. The average at Haas is right around 700, so you're in good shape assuming that the rest of your materials are up to par.

I just finished my gmat on Monday, 7/20 and got the same you got Q47 and V38 but received a 700 for my unofficial score. Maybe yours will go up when you get your official scores back.

Actually, not all GMAT breakdowns are created equal. It all depends on the difficulty of the questions answered. The GMAT scoring algorithm is a great mystery!
