First step. Take a sample test. See where you stand in terms of score. Look at median GMAT scores for schools you're interested in.

Second step. Identify sections where you are weak. Identify slots of 2-3 hours when you can work on the GMAT without being disturbed. Figure out how many such time slots you need to be to fully prepare yourself for the test.

Third step. Take a few sample tests.

Fourth Step. Take the test.

Fifth Step. If you're unhappy with the result of the fourth step. Repeat steps one to four.

Additionally, you can look at the strategies others have posted on this site and see how they managed to overcome the test when faced with time issues.

There really isn't an easy solution--you just have to carve out the time and commit to studying for 2-3 months. It's going to be hard on yourself and potentially other people who care about you, but set expectations and grind it out.

It will be over before you know it. And you may find yourself enjoying the process (I know, hard to believe). You have a friendly community here to support you along the way!

Good luck!
