Dear Bov82,

I am not concerned with your extra-curriculars, but I do think how you present your professional work experience is what will make the difference for you. Even though you are not in management by title, emphasize the managerial skills you have developed/enhanced in your tenure. If you supervise folks on an informal basis, you want to show that. If you have a budget or manage projects, you want to highlight that. You are responsible for key accounts--showcase your results in maintaining those accounts and adding/expanding other accounts. It is about your leadership potential and painting the picture that you are a future business leader. Write strong essays and do well in your interview, and I think you will be at one of those schools next fall.

Best of luck,
Lisa
