Price Range..experts any help?

In May, Xiang sold 15 used cars. For these 15 used cars the range of the selling price was $15,000 and lowest $4,500. In June Xiang Sold 10 used cars. For these 10 used cars, the range of selling price was $16,500 and the lowest price was $6,100. What was the range of selling prices of the 25 used cars sold by Xiang in May and June.

A) $15,600
B) $15,750
C) $16,820
D) $18,100
E) $19,200

For the first 15 used cars sold: the lowest price was $4,500, with the range was $15,000, so the highest price was : 4,500+15,000 = 19,500 USD

For the latter 10 used cars sold: the lowest price was 6,100 and the range was 16,500, so the highest price was 6,100 + 16,500 = 22,600 USD

Now of the 25 cars sold: the lowest price was 4,500, the highest price was 22,600, then the range must be : 22,600 - 4,500 = 18,100
Hence, D is the answer.
