hi lisa,
I am thinking of attending summer schools like in Ucla and london school of economics for courses finance or leadership.can these be helpful in mba admission in top mba schools to demonstrate your skills?

Dear mercecan1929,

Taking a few courses between graduating college and applying to business school can be helpful if you did not perform well academically in college. It gives you a chance to demonstrate your ability to succeed in the classroom and grasp the concepts of the class. This alternative transcript can be particularly useful if you did poorly in quantitative courses in college and take quantitative courses prior to applying to business school. It is not expected or required for you to take courses, but it can help if you feel other aspects of your application are not a true reflection of your current abilities.

Regards,
Lisa
