I have a Kaplan GMAT 2008 edition guide purchased when I originally planned on taking the GMAT. I am now planning on taking in October and wanted to know if it was ok to use the 2008 edition instead of getting the 2011 edition.

Thanks-

In my experience, it's safe to use older books for your GMAT prep because major companies (Kaplan included) don't make that many adjustments year to year. I had the 2009 edition and it was virtually the same as the 2010 edition, only that they also supplied more online content. The textbook itself was pretty much the same.
