Hi-

I made a typo when I wrote the date of an extra-curricular activity in one of my apps, which is completely submitted. I got the year wrong, and the way it is now, it goes through the time I was abroad (although I did participate before I left and guess you could say I was on it for the full year, as the main event of the org happened in first semester before I left.) Should I send admin an email about it?

Also, I realized a spelling typo on the 1st part of an app that I submitted, but have not submitted the second part yet (the essays). Should I point it out to admins to correct or let it ride? It is in a description of my employment.

Thanks!

Dear bizzzschool,

For the first typo on the date, I would email the school and let them know what the correct date should be. While it is probably not that big of a deal, the school will appreciate your honesty and thoroughness.

For the typo on part 1 of an application, I think you have to probably let that one go. It is a spelling error, so that is not something as critical as a date. It is also possible it might not be noticed. Just triple-check everything else on part 2 and stay positive!

Good luck,
Lisa
