Last week of prep!

by steveyb » Sat Jan 03, 2009 2:48 pm
So I've been studying about a month now (OG). I've taken two practice tests for quant (GMAT prep) and scored like 37 and 39. I skipped verbal since I've been super busy and I'm semi confident in my verbal skills.

How should I approach my final week (test is on Friday)? More practice tests? I highly dislike standardized tests.. I feel so rushed and don't think clearly under those circumstances. I do really well on tests in school (3.7 gpa finance in a decent program), maybe it's just a mental thing about standardized tests.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I honestly think you should do a full cat. You are not accurately mimicking true testing conditions (fatigue, endurance, concentration levels) by doing just one portion of the exam. You're completing omitting the Verbal and AWA section and that's a lot of extra work.

Most people on here do not like standardized tests, but to do well you gotta make sacrifices and do what you gotta go.
