I haven't taken one of those tests, but just for your reference: 51 is the highest possible score on the actual GMAT, so an expected score between 47 and 51 is pretty good!

Yeah, have you been getting anything closer than 47-51? I know you're a Quant God.

I took it and got the range like you. 47-51.

But I can assure you that my verbal range is nothing close to 47-51 :) not even 37-41

if you get all the problems right, it will give you an expected range of 49-51.

bacali: it certainly looks as though you're at the point where you don't terribly have to worry about bettering your quant score, though. probably a good time to focus exclusively on verbal, with some occasional quant practice thrown in there to make sure that you don't get rusty.

Thanks Ron. My only problem is I did the GMAT 3 weeks ago, got a Q42 V 40. I was average Q 47 on GMATPREP.

Kind of lost on what to study now...

if you've got that kind of differential, then the difference is almost certainly psychological. it's in your head.

you may or may not have read this post, regarding successful ways to handle stress / test anxiety.

Wow Ron! You hit it right on the spot.

I actually managed only 3 hours of sleep the night before my test. I'm really worried the same thing is going to happen next time I take the GMAT.
