Hi,
Please do let me know how I stand in terms of my stats and strategy.
Here are my stats
Undergrad - Computer Science from India, GPA - Not sure but I'm guessing its below 3.
Grad - Computer Science from USC, GPA - 3.31
Work Exp - 9 years of IT experience with increasing responsibilities, have worked in the US for around 6 years on some very interesting and unique projects like the systems merger of Golden West with Wachovia bank. Solid leadership and mgmt skills, have experience leading multiple teams varying from 5 to 25 ppl.
Reason for MBA - Currently at a stage where I'm seeing myself in roles which require business knowledge and strategy in addition to my technical background.
GMAT - Targetting 700+
I am planning to apply to 4 top 10 schools in round 1 , and then to schools in the 10-20 in round two as back up. How do you rate my chances with such a strategy keeping in mind my profile. Are the top 10 schools a realistic target ?
Thanks,
Charan
