by kek728 » Wed Feb 25, 2009 8:29 pm
I'm considering to apply to a top-tier MBA program in Fall 2009 in either first or second round.

Education background: Graduated from U Chicago with honors BA in economics in 2007. Overall GPA 3.7/4.0.

GMAT Score: Took in Fall 2006. Overall: 710 (94%), Q:48(86%), V:40 (90%)

Work Experience: Small strategy consulting firm. Will have 24-28 months of work experience when applying.

Extracurriculars: Volunteer and professional board member with major non-profit in Chicago. Will also be running marathon to raise money for same organization.

Career goals: Work in the video game industry in brand management or business development.

Target schools: Kellogg, Chicago Booth, Stanford, HBS, Berkeley, Wharton

Kek728,

You have a competitive profile for these schools and are applying appropriately, but they are all tough. There are no safeties here.

You may also be interested in Accepted's MBA Admissions Telethon when we will offer free mini-consultations by phone to applicants applying next fall. It takes place this Wednesday.
