Work Ex:

-4 yrs in Futures First, currently as Associate.
Current Job Details: Trading in carbon emissions and crude oil futures markets.
Extra-Curricular:
-Participated in Cricket, Football in college and in company, but have no certificates.
-No real role of responsibility in college.
-Managed 3-4 technicians in my last job.
-In current job, managing none.

More Info:
-Good analytical skills, got 99.56 on CAT 3 years back but didn't chose to go for an MBA.
-Good programming skills.
-Weakness might be low experience in leadership roles.

GMAT:
-First attempt on 25 mar.
-Attempted Veritas Free Mock, scored, Q51, V35 = 690.
-Working on verbal and striving for V40=around 720-730.

My first query is: for me, which is better, MBA or M. Fin.
Next is: How is my profile, can I target, say top 25 colleges.

Thanks,

Manoj,
As to your first query, I can't really answer that for you. YOU need to answer that. IT depends on your goals, and what you are looking for in a program. I can very very generally say that 1. MFin and MBA have may overlaps 2. MFin is a far more "technical" degree (knowledge and skill based) whereas the MBA is a lot more holistic (making leaders, teaching business), so you have to see which appeals to you most, and which fits you most.

I think a good place to start is from your goals. Meaning, figure out which position you really would love to do, then browse through people's profiles on LinkedIn or whatever... and see what degrees they actually got! And I think this will be your first clue as to what might right for you.
